Mid January, Still very cold weather. I went to boat Sea bass fishing in Tokyo bay.

Mid January, Still very cold weather. I went to boat Sea bass fishing in Tokyo bay.
Area we were fishing was 9m deep flat area of middle of nowhere. In this season of Tokyo bay. It is popular to fish with big bait lure near the surface. But the day I was there. It was so windy and very low air temperature. Sea bass was not active at all. So, I was thinking Sea bass move to little bit deeper water.
Since l started designing SM135-S. SM135-S is mainly design for Pike fishing. But, I was sure this lure could be effective for Tokyo bay Sea bass fishing also. So, I was thinking SM135-S this fishing. and My guess was 100% right !
Sea bass was in mid range of water.
I was straight retrieving 5 to 6m range with SM135-S. I was able to catch 2 nice Sea bass with same technique with same lure. I was so happy to catch Sea bass with SM135-S.
Thanks to the SM135-S. Even It was very strong wind coming from front. SM135-S can cast super long distance cast. So, I can cover very wide area of field very quickly.
In the begging. Sea bass was very active with mid fast retrieve speed. But, When Sea bass start getting tired of SM135-S. I changed SM135-S LIGHT (40g). So, I can fish same range of depth oaf water with slower retrieve speed. Then I was able to catch 1 additional Sea bass.
It was excellent test for SM135-S and SM135-S LIGHT. I am sure SM135-S has so much potential for different kinds of predators fish over the world. Please try in your field !
